Meds IQ Champion webinar - November 2018
On November 6th, we had a webinar for Meds IQ Champions featuring Medicines for Children team - Anna Rossiter (RCPCH) and Rachel Lane (Reason Digital) on the topic of co-designing a new medicines safety app with patients and families.
In July 2018 the RCPCH Medicines for Children project was awarded funding and practical support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Comic Relief's "Tech for Good" programme. Through this grant new technology will be sued to develop a tool to provide assistance to parents and carers managing complex medicines regimes at home.
Reason Digital, who are developing the app, have undertaken extensive consultation with parents/carers and child health professionals in collaboration with WellChild and Meds IQ.
The in-depth feedback collected will input into the development of the minimum viable product, then subject to further consultation. It is expected that the first version of the app will be ready in March 2019.
For more details on the project, please listen to the recording of the webinar available below.
